Installation Instructions

Download and Install The Client
Download and Install Razor
Launch Razor
Type in the correct server address and port number into Razor.
Click OK and Razor will lauch the client.

Creating a Character

Please note: Purely Primitive runs most effectively using client 4.0.11f

Server Address: purelyprimitive.no-ip.org
Port: 2593

How to connect to Purely Primitive:

1. Install Ultima Online.

- Download and install the client: http://www.download.com/Ultima-Online-Mondain-s-Legacy-client/3000-7541_4-10432237.html

- Open the client. As soon as you open the client, it will begin to patch. In the lower right-hand side there will be two boxes, one of them having a faded out cancel. Keep an eye on that cancel. As soon as the patch reaches 4-0-11f (shown to the left of the cancel box in the moving text), you need to cancel the patching. However, the only time that the cancel button is clickable is when the patch text says "Transferring patch information". Watch for this to show after you see 4-0-11f and then you will have an opportunity to click cancel. When you click cancel the first time the patcher will try to begin the patch again. In order to stop this you must continuously click the cancel button at a rapid speed and eventually the patcher will close or you will get an error. Either way, click cancel until the patcher is gone. At this point you should open up the razor program that you installed and in the ipaddress put: "purelyprimitive.no-ip.org" and for the port put: "2593". Once that is filled in just click okay and you should connect and be ready to go.

2. - Download and install Razor: http://www.runuo.com/razor/Razor_Latest.exe

Razor is a program that will lauch the client and direct you to the Purely Primitive Server after you enter the correct server address and port number and enables you to connect. Be sure that you download the latest version of razor.

Install and launch Razor. you will see this screen.




In the space after Server: put the following address.  purelyprimitive.no-ip.org
and in the port space put 2593

Then you click okay and the client will launch.

Getting Started.

1. Creating your Purely Primitive account on Purely Primitive.

Once your client is loaded and the movies are done playing you will see a login screen. On Purely Primitive there is an auto account creator so all you need to do is pick an original account name and a password of your choice. If you get an error saying "Your account credentials are invalid. Check your user ID and password and try again." or "Failed to communicate with origin servers." this means that the account name you have chosen already exists and you need to pick a new one.

NOTE: You may only have 1 character per account. To create another character you must create another account.

2. Creating your characters.

Once you make your account and password you will be brought to a shard list, select Purely Primitive. Now you will see the start of the character creation menu. First you will need to choose a trade for your character. Samurai, Ninja, Paladin, and Necromancer are not valid options on Purely Primitive and you will not be able to select characters of this type. If you select a template from the main options (Warrior, mage, blacksmith) you will be brought to the character customization screen, if not you will need to pick your starting skills and attributes before you proceed to the character customization screen. Once here you will have to pick a character name. Names can not exceed 20 characters and can not include numbers. Purely Primitive characters have unique names, so you cannot name your charaacter a particular name if there is a character already in the world by that name. After you have picked a suitable name you can select what you would like your character to look like using the menus to the left and the right. When you are done click the next button to proceed.

After you have finished this screen, you should come to a map screen. Here you will see all of the cities and you may start at any one of them, but be forewarned, Britain is the only safe city. King British's guards will protect you there, but only there. It is recommended that you start there.
